Good staff
As a newcomer, relatively, to the Highlands I have been caring for my elderly parents, whose local pharmacy is the Moss Vale Community Pharmacy. I am overwhelmed by the love and care shown to my parents, and particularly at the recent passing of my Mum. The support for Mum and Dad has been wonderful, with the girls delivering medications out to Bundanoon at times when I have been unable to leave the house, advising me when worried about meds., answering my questions on the phone, packing meds ready for me to run in and pick up, without having to wait and sincerely expressing their concern for my own health at times, when things became difficult and sad. The professionalism and friendliness of all the staff, as well as the general care for their customers, is so very much appreciated
Hi I am NOT a customer of Community Pharmacy Moss Vale, as I live far away. On Tuesday 21 February,I needed help. Late the night before I had a phone call from a family member(by marriage) that her husband had just died. I went into a major despair myself for her (yet minimal to what she was facing.) Her marriage was one that was rare, it was built on the foundation of one man,and one woman till death do us part and forever after. It was nothing short of total devotion.Where do you get that in our modern world ?I drove to Moss Vale,I wasn't positive how to get to her farm. My mobile wasn't connecting.I stopped in the main street in Moss Vale and I don't know WHY but I went into Community Pharmacy. I told a couple of the girls my desperate mission to help someone,who just the night before had to give up the love of her life,her true life partner. It was "I must find her. " These girls would make so many calls, on any clues I would throw at them.I went back to the home she wasn't there.Once again I returned to Community Pharmacy where strangers understood,my misery. They filled up my water bottle,sprayed me with calming spray mist.Off I went again and this time I didn't need to return to," my base at Community Pharmacy," the very person I had come to support was home.But she really would never know 'the REAL SUPPORT people,' I had been supported by. One of the girls said,"well if I fell down in the street, I'de hope someone would help me." So people from Moss Vale,your Community is alive and well.Thanking you Bonny Bourke
