Just enough time for browsing ready for next years class. Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit and thrilled with their professionalism.

I was recommended to Arthead by Bowral District Art Society for a picture framing, and I'm extremely pleased with the recommendation.The owner, Sonja, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to listen intently to the background history of my painting before making suitable suggestions for the frame and setting.I was so pleased with the end result, I returned with further art works that required minor repairs. Once again, Sonja could not have been more helpful and her staff conducted the repairs rapidly and to a professional level.I have since returned to Arthead for art supplies and I am constantly astounded at the range and quality of product they hold.Arthead is undoubtedly a high-end art supplier providing a quality service to the Southern Highlands. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending this shop to anybody requiring framing, printing and art supplies.
The most unreliable and frustrating shopping experience in the entire district. The shop is either closed when it should be open, or is open but doesn't have what artists actually need, and is so over-priced as to be breathtaking, so anything you do buy is a very expensive compromise. I just wasted 30 minutes waiting on the doorstep next to a "back in 10 minutes" sign (obviously meaningless) and this was my 4th trip over in the last 2 weeks, based on their website saying they are open, only to discover they are closed. Without a doubt the worst customer service of any shop in the highlands - Sonja's "attitude" is enough to make me never shop here again, no matter how desperate I am. Buying online from the US takes less time and is more reliable than a trip to Arthead. This is one artist who will be shopping elsewhere from now on.
